BSMSA Level 3 Certificate in Medical Terminology

This course is for anyone wishing to, or already working within a medical environment. It will give you the highest level of knowledge in medical terminology to use within the role of medical administration or medical secretary.

The learning material is broken down into 15 units. You will start with an introduction which will teach you the basics of how the medical terms are built from root words, suffixes and prefixes. The remaining units will then move through: 
• Introduction to the Body Systems
• Musculo-Skeletal System
• Cardiovascular System
• Respiratory System
• Digestive System
• Lymphatic System
• Urinary System
• Reproductive System
• Sensory Systems
• Oncology 
• Radiology and Pathology
• Common Abbreviations

This course is delivered fully online including the final exam. It is mentor support via email, so you have someone there to help and support you throughout your learning. 

Within each unit there are several short quizzes to test your knowledge throughout. There is then an assignment to complete after every 3 units. This is marked by your mentor with full feedback.

Once you have completed the full learning you will move onto your final exam.
